Ingredients:
• 1 cup Rice
• 2tsp Ghee
• 1 tsp Cumin
• Salt to taste
• 2 ½ -3 cups Water
Method:
• Boil the water first.
• Heat the ghee in a medium size saucepan over a medium-high heat. Drop in the cumin seeds, and cook until they splutter. Do not allow the cumin seeds to burn or become really dark brown in colour. Add the rice and fry it in the ghee for about 1 minute.
• Add boiled water and salt and bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan. Cook the rice for approximately 15 minutes. Check the rice is cooked or not. If rice is still little uncooked add water to desire.
• Serve with any curry or Daal.
